API (Application Programming Interface) is a simple interface that allows you (the account holder, seller or merchant) to make payments instantly from your account to your customers or friends accounts, get the transactions history or know the balance instantly without logging in the HooPay website.

We have made a complete guide to developers and you can download from your "Manage APIs" section inside your HooPay's account.

We also have developed a Php sample api to know how the API works in your website. You can download it from your "Manage APIs" section of your account or by here:

The API 2.0 has got a SHA256 encryptation to verification purposes and you can set all parameters in the "Manage APIs" section of the HooPay's account.

- All companies or users who want to make payments from their customers without logging in HooPay.
- All people who want to know the balance without logging or who want to display the real balance in their website (i.e. exchangers)
- All people who want to get the transaction history to associate to their website app automatically or who want to verify the last transactions.

Remember that the API 1.0 will be shutdown on February 01, 2010. From this date on, all payments must be done through the API 2.0 described in this article.
